All in: making climate protection practical for everyone
_
What if everyone could contribute to climate protection? If everyone could simply play their part - regardless of how much money or knowledge they had? We believe the gains would be enormous. After all, climate protection has been one of our biggest challenges for some time. And it takes an entire society to really make a difference.
Like all changes, the green transition is a real challenge. Even for those who have recognised its urgency and necessity: There are fears and uncertainties on the one hand and structural obstacles and conflicting goals on the other. There is the small family business that would like to make its production more climate friendly, but doesn't know where and how to start as the day-to-day business leaves neither the scope nor the budget.
There is the community of owners of a residential building who would like to install a photovoltaic system, but who capitulate in the face of the many requirements. There is the family that just about makes ends meet and has other concerns than worrying about their ecological footprint. And, of course, the weaker self in order to that needs to be overcome in order to break out of old habits or social conventions and become an active part of the change.
Desire meets reality, climate protection meets real life. There are many reasons that prevent us from acting in a climate-friendly way. The question is: how can we remove these obstacles?
We know: There are already many answers to this question. And we want to make them visible.
Do you have any ideas? Or are you already working on "inclusive" climate change - in other words, climate protection that involves everyone and is doable for everyone? If so, this is the place for you.
We firmly believe that where there is a will, there will soon be a way. Let's work together to find answers and solutions that enable society in all its diversity and everyone in their own milieu to act sustainably. It's time to turn good intentions into actions.

«100 Minutes»: Climate and Us
We actually wanted to make a podcast about the climate. But then season 2 became a podcast about us. Our procrastination, our inaction, our climate pig dog. And about how we overcome it.

The new ‘From 0 to 100’ mission is called ‘Climate & Us’ - what is it about?
In our new mission, we want to make climate protection feasible for everyone. What prevents us from acting in a climate-friendly way? And how can we remove the obstacles? We want to provide answers and find solutions - so that the ‘should’ becomes a ‘want’ and the want becomes action.
-
What does ‘making climate protection feasible for everyone’ mean?
Climate change is an acute threat to our quality of life. Many people are aware of the urgency and the need for action. And yet far too little is still being done. Climate protection must be seen neither as a privilege nor a burden. We must make it possible for everyone to take action within their means and thus make an effective contribution to climate protection.
-
What exactly is the problem?
Climate protection is currently not equally accessible to everyone. This needs to change. Some people find climate protection stressful, others don't know where to start and still others feel blocked by a lack of time or money - that's how individual the obstacles are. This applies to individuals as well as companies and even politicians. But the good news is that there are many people, projects and companies that are starting right here. We want to offer them a stage.
-
What needs to happen for everyone to get involved?
Climate protection must become understandable and, above all, feasible: Solutions are needed that meet people where they are - at an individual, social and systemic level. This requires courage, creative approaches and a deep understanding of the different needs.
-
And what exactly is the Migros Pioneer Fund doing to achieve this?
We want to get to the bottom of the obstacles that prevent us from acting sustainably and support pioneers who use innovative solutions to help people and companies on their way to a more sustainable future. Because systemic change needs all of us: together with you, we want to break down the barriers and develop solutions that make sustainable action easier and more accessible.
